Tasks Centralisation
As part of our ongoing CasePlan Maintenance, we are working to retire legacy features and centralise functions and data within CasePlan. This release includes the retirement of the MICK app menu (Three dots menu).
Tasks previously found in the MICK app menu (Three dots menu) will now be located under the Tasks -> DMS tab in CasePlan. Here, you can access all your document tasks and incoming document tasks.
Document Tasks:
- Tasks created from DMS for a file will now appear here.
- By default, the file will be attached to the task it pertains to.
Incoming Documents:
- When a new file is uploaded to the Holding Area, internally know as scanned mail box, a new task will be created for the team under the Incoming Document Task list.
- Similar to Document Tasks, the file will be attached to the task.
- All previous functions (move, delete, view, download) remain available for the files.
- Upon moving, deleting a file, Task will be resolved automatically with system comment added. (You might need to refresh the page for task to disappear, we will work on the fix)
- You can manually resolve the Task as well, by clicking Resolve button.
- All resolved Tasks can be seen by ticking Resolved Tasks in filter option.
Additional Information:
- Once a file is uploaded to the Holding Area (mail box), it may take up to 10 minutes for the task to appear in CasePlan.
- Users will receive a notification when a new task is assigned to them.
- Only document files (pdf, word), image files (png, jepg), zip folder and email files will create the Task.
Finance PATCH
🪲✅ We have resolved the issue where files could not be uploaded on disbursement for barristers at a later stage. This functionality is now working correctly.
✨Finance approval is now mandatory for all write-offs and transfers, regardless of the amount.
Additionally, to ensure everyone's up to speed, organisation-wide training sessions will be scheduled for mid-July*.
